BhPOS v2 beta released.

After over a year of hard work, the initial beta has been released. This beta version, will see an end to any bhpos v1 updates, and with v2 final (due end of oct), sees the end of v1 altogether.

With version 2, a plethora of end apps are coming to fruition, and the first of these is a new touchcreen client. In tandem with this release, a new vxmis admin system will be released shortly (due monday 2nd Oct), along with the bhcart (same date).

As it is a beta 1, we expect bugs to rear their ugly heads, no matter how much testing has been done. Report as many as possible, as it will help speed up the next release.

The SOAP barcode database is in test. This should allow dynamic database product filling if all goes well, and the barcode exists in the database. Circa 223,000 products in the system at present, but hopefully it will grow. When the system goes on line, adding to the database is encouraged, as it will help everyone involved.
